One of the most charming parts about staying at Wapato Point Resort is its proximity to both the lake and downtown Manson! This lovely little town was established in 1912 and has provided locals with entertainment, amenities, and good food ever since. So as you venture into town from our property looking for a bite to eat, we recommend these delightful spots to dine at or take back to the room with you!
THE WINEMAKERS GRILL
Our absolute favorite place to have dinner is The Winemakers Grill at the edge of Wapato Point’s property. A tasting room during the day, this restaurant serves its delicious wine and cider, craft cocktails, appetizers, and intricate main courses. Find a fresh sheet with different specials every day!
SUNSET BAR AND GRILL
Happy hour awaits at Sunset Bar and Grill! Here you can find wonderful deals on happy hour food and cocktails, as well as different specials occurring every day, twice a day! Be on the lookout for special events at Sunset Bar and Grill, including cocktail classes and more.
SMOKE ON THE WATER
You’ll definitely be able to smell the smokey BBQ aromas from down the street! At Smoke on the Water you will discover unique flavors, very generous portions, and super fast service. Try out the Lone Star Sampler to share with one or two others…or have it all on your own!
MI PALOMA
Currently, Mi Paloma is only available for food orders at the window or pick up. We suggest grabbing a few tacos and heading to Manson Bay Park to find a cozy bench to enjoy the views from. Mi Paloma uses locally sourced products whenever possible, offers several vegetarian or vegan options, and serves cocktails, like their famous classic margarita!
MY BUDDY’S PLACE
Most people know Buddy’s as the local late-night bar, but My Buddy’s Place is so much more! Perhaps the best burgers in the entire valley, this spot makes delicious burgers, sandwiches, salads and french fries. In the summer, you can enjoy their outdoor patio as you munch on the esteemed Alex’s Burger.
As you enjoy your brisk walk from the Point this winter, don’t forget to warm up at one of these favorite local restaurants! Eat the meal there, or bring it back to Wapato Point with you. Either way, you’re in for some real good food.
