Safety Services Supervisor (Seasonal) (Manson)

Come join our team at Wapato Point Management Company! Work side-by-side with, and supervise other safety professionals at Wapato Point Resort, a private community on Lake Chelan in Manson, Washington.

The Safety Services Supervisor will supervise 2-6 Safety Service employees. Duties include front entrance operations (authorize guests, information) and perimeter, buildings, vehicles, lakefront, trails, and lodging unit security details. The ability to supervise and provide training, lead by example while demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and a positive demeanor, are essential to this position. Safety Service employees enjoy significant contact with owners and guests, in addition to some support services (after-hours check-in or supply requests).

Skills and abilities required for this position are the ability to read, write and speak English, produce basic Excel spreadsheets, compose written communications, exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, and sound judgement. A high school diploma or GED is required and a minimum of 2 years experiences as a Safety/Security Officer is desired.

Compensation: 16 – 18

GROUNDSKEEPER

Wapato Point Management Co. is currently seeking a permanent fulltime Groundskeeper. The Groundskeeper supports the grounds and landscaping maintenance throughout Wapato Point Resort. Work is primarily outdoors: mowing, weeding, trimming, pruning, garbage collection, split/stack firewood, sweeping, sanding and other repairs and maintenance as required. Candidates must demonstrate some skill level in all areas or a basic understanding of work functions and the desire and ability to learn.

Groundskeepers support and work closely with other departments. Fulltime, permanent employees receive company-paid medical, dental and vision benefits, in addition to annual increases and some property amenities. The Groundskeeper is a represented position; union membership is required within 100 days of hire.
Attendance, timeliness and the ability to communicate in a positive and respectful manner with co-workers and guests is essential to this position. This position is not eligible for relocation benefits.

Seasonal Groundskeepers

Full-time Seasonal-Beginning April 2021

Housekeepers & Van Drivers

Join our Housekeeping Department at beautiful Wapato Point Resort!  Housekeepers work in teams to provide clean, beautiful lodging accommodations for our owners and guests.

Housekeepers will:

  • Clean, restock, organize and refresh guest condominium units;
  • Respond to guest queries and requests;
  • Report damage or safety hazards to supervisor;
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of lodging units;
  • Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with guests and coworkers;
  • Organize and restock cart at end of shift.

Qualifications:

  • Good physical health, including the ability to extend arms over head and bend to perform cleaning tasks;
  • Ability to push or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. and lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays;
  • Punctuality and reliable attendance are required.

 Many positions require availability nights, weekends, and holidays.
