We know traveling with your kiddos can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, you’re making memories that will last a lifetime! On the other hand, it can be a full-time job trying to keep them entertained. Thankfully our resort comes packed full of activities your kids can enjoy without even having to leave the grounds. There’s so much to do, you’ll wonder how you’re going to fit it all in!
Putt Putt Golf
Kick off your family vacation with a round of putt-putt golf. Our mini-golf course is designed for fun and friendly competition, suitable for all ages. As you navigate the whimsical obstacles and creative course design, you’ll find plenty of photo-worthy moments. Putt-putt golf is a great way to bond with your kids while enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.
Playground
Set the littles loose on our new worry-free Fall Safe playground equipment while you bask in the sound of their giggles AND the stunning view of the lake.
Beach Time
With our private beach, you and your family can soak up the sun, build sandcastles, and splash around in the clear waters of Lake Chelan. The gentle waves and sandy shore are perfect for young children to play safely. Pack a picnic, bring some beach toys, and settle in for a day of fun and relaxation by the water.
Trout Fishing
Wapato Point has a fully stocked Trout Pond available seasonally during the summer months. The Trout Pond boasts beautiful, 8-10 inch rainbow trout. Catching fish in our pond is a great way to teach your kids the joys of fishing, giving the young fisherman a high chance of success while learning the art of fishing. You may rent fishing poles, complete with bait, from the KIOSK.
Shuffleboard
From grandparents to toddlers, this game can be played by the whole family, requiring both strength and subtlety at times to win. Our Shuffleboard courts are located near the tennis courts and the Chelan-side beach. Grab a set and see which team will be victorious. Stop by the KIOSK and pick up your Shuffleboard equipment.
Horseshoes
Ready, aim, pitch your shoe towards the stake. A perfect activity for older kiddos, our horseshoe pit is located near the miniature golf course. Pick up your horseshoes at the KIOSK, and let the games begin!
Swimming
Each Association has their own private outdoor pool in addition to the Indoor Pool, which is open to everyone. And don’t forget one GIANT lake…. Swimming is our thing!
(Please note: the indoor pool will be closed June 6-20, 2024 for maintenance.)
Outdoor Sports
Challenge your kids to a game of H-O-R-S-E on one of our two half basketball courts, or dust off your tennis or pickleball skills and teach them a thing or two. Burning off energy while bonding AND having a blast is our favorite kind of fun.
Activities
We provide a wide range of fun, kid-friendly activities throughout the summer. From bracelet making to holiday crafts, we try to get creative for your kids! New this year: Ladder ball, Bocce Ball and Giant Jenga! And don’t forget your FREE bag of popcorn from the KIOSK throughout the summer. Check in at the KIOSK when you arrive to see what activities are scheduled during your stay.
