The adventure is boundless

With over 30 wineries offering tastings, Lake Chelan is the perfect location for connoisseurs. Having multiple wineries to choose from, however, also means that narrowing down the list can be difficult to do. We’ve selected five to help jump-start your next visit.

1. Rio Vista

With two different locations for tasting, checking out Rio Vista is a must. The Cabin, located within walking distance of the resort, and situated inside of a real wood cabin, offers wine slushies along with their regular selection of delicious wine.

Want to get out for a drive? Head to Rio Vista on the River and visit Chelan’s only winery located directly on the water. Here you will experience the beauty of the Columbia River, and can even boat to the venue!

2. Alta Cellars

Also within walking distance from Wapato Point Resort is Alta Cellars. Offering live music, great wine, and an inviting atmosphere, Alta Cellars welcomes all – even the pups! Listen to local artists perform live music every Friday through September.

3. WineGirl Wines

Kick back and enjoy a cold glass of Rosé on the patio at WineGirl Wines. A wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and Tipsy Trivia are in store for you here. WineGirl’s location, across the street from Wapato Point Resort, makes it easy to walk to and from your rental or explore downtown Manson.

4. Tipsy Canyon

Tipsy Canyon, situated in the backcountry of Manson, overlooks the Cascade Foothills and Roses Lake. A family-owned and operated winery, Tipsy Canyon was founded by Mark and Tami Garvin who escaped the big city for a slower pace in the valley. They are often found working in production, behind the counter pouring wine, or enjoying a glass after their shift!

5. Wapato Point Cellars & Lake Chelan Winery

Although sister wineries, each venue has its own personality and blend to offer. Head to Lake Chelan Winery to enjoy BBQ in the vineyard, or to Wapato Point Cellars and enjoy hors d’oeuvres on the patio. Wapato Point Cellars and Lake Chelan Winery are also the only two wineries in the valley that offer complimentary tastings!

No choice is a bad one when selecting a winery in the Lake Chelan Valley. These five locations, however, have proven to provide award-winning wines, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere at all times. Enjoy the experience and have a glass for us!
