SAFETY MEASURES

OWNERS / GUESTS OF WAPATO POINT RESORT

Wapato Point Management Company is committed to the safety of our guests, employees, vendors and all who enter our property.  The guidelines listed below are for everyone’s protection.  While staying at or visiting Wapato Point Resort, please follow these mandatory rules that are now in place:

Check-In:

If preregistered- we will have packet with information ready for a fast check in- we still require signatures and credit card information to be provided.

  1. Maintain social distancing of 6 feet as recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
  2. Avoid face-to-face contact or encounters. If unavoidable, wear a face mask and/or maintain 6 feet of distance from other persons as recommended by the CDC.
  3. Please follow the lobby floor markers in place to maintain 6 feet distance from other persons.
  4. A limit of one representative per unit/check-in will be allowed in the lobby.
  5. Paper receipts will be provided but can also be sent to your personal email. 
  6. Whenever possible guests will be asked to provide a signature on paper; electronic signature processes may take place instead or no signature at all.
  7. The Club House lobby will remain closed for use.

In-Unit:

  1. Established cleaning schedules will remain the same. Guests that are still residing on site when their unit is cleaned:
    1. Leave the unit while Housekeeping is present or stay in a room within the unit that is NOT occupied by Housekeeping.
    2. Do not touch, move, or remove items from the Housekeeping closet.

Outside:

Please respect the following closures and restrictions.

  1. The indoor pool is open, please practice all safety measures.
  2. Outdoor pools will be open as weather and maintenance permits; please practice social distancing.
  3. The recreation KIOSK is open but with limited activities.
  4. Boat docks and beaches are open; please practice social distancing.

Deliveries:

  1. If possible, please limit any deliveries to the resort.
    1. For packages delivered to the Club House:
      1. Specific hours are posted for package pickup, no exceptions.
      2. When notified, owners/guests will have 3 days to pick up packages, or Safety Services may deliver packages to the unit.
      3. Packages left in the Club House for more than 3 days will be returned.
      4. Owners/guests are responsible for sanitation steps, if desired, of any packages received.
      5. Wapato Point Management Company is not responsible for the cleanliness or sanitation of packages received.

  1. Maintain social distancing of 6 feet as recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
  2. Avoid face-to-face contact or meetings. If unavoidable, wear a face mask and/or maintain 6 feet of distance from other persons as recommended by the CDC.
  3. Do not share pens, pencils, desks, telephones, computer, or other business machines or ask to use someone’s pen, pencil, desk, telephone, computer, or other machines.
  4. Single person use in vehicles and golf carts is recommended, if possible. Face masks are required in all vehicles with more than one occupant. 
  5. Additional safety requirements may be necessary, depending on the risk level of the position, and may include:
  • Face Masks
  • Gloves
  • Booties
  1. Vendors and delivery personnel are required to adhere to safety measures also; please be aware of this.
  2. Lunchroom and break areas are closed to employee use; employees may take lunch or breaks in their vehicles or in a location that maintains a minimum of 6 feet from other persons. 
  3. Frequently wash hands for at least 20 seconds; utilize alcohol wipes or hand rub if necessary.
  4. Avoid touching eyes, mouth, or nose with unwashed hands.
  5. Cover coughs/sneezes with the arm or shoulder.
  6. Avoid close contact with persons who are sick; stay home if sick.
