LEARN TENNIS AT WAPATO POINT

Dial Jones Tennis Academy (DJTA) is pleased to announce it’s Grand Opening at Wapato Point Resort! USPTA Elite tennis professional, Dial Jones, is very excited to introduce his acclaimed tennis program to Wapato Point residents and visitors.

A California native, Dial was the director at Club Sport, (formerly Amador Valley Athletic Club) in Pleasanton CA, the University Club of Palo Alto CA, as well as, the Ritz Carlton in Marina del Rey CA. He founded DJTA in 1993 in Santa Monica, California and has now expanded this program to the Chelan County community.  

Dial and his talented staff have taught thousands of people of all ages, from beginners to, Collegiate Division 1 players. With over  30+ years of teaching experience his aim has always been to connect and inspire tennis players in a welcoming learning environment. We hope that your time with Dial at Wapato Point will create lasting memories and a new passion for the sport.

SUMMER TENNIS SCHEDULE June 14 to September 14

JUNIOR CLINIC  (Friday’s)

1 hour group sessions are held Friday afternoons. The juniors will focus on various aspects of the sport; technique, tactics/strategy, point/game play & more. Cost: $25

Beginners

1 pm — age 9 to 12

2 pm  —  age 13 to 16

Intermediate  

3 pm —   age 9 to 12

4 pm —  age 13 to 16

Advanced  

5pm — age 13 to 16

ADULT CLINIC (Saturday’s)

Adult groups will be Saturday mornings. Areas of Focus: Technique, singles & doubles play & tactics/strategy & more.

Cost: $30

9am–   Beginners/Adv. Beg.  (NTRP 1.0 – 2.5)

10am — Intermediate              (NTRP 3.0 – 3. 5)

11am — Advanced                   (NTRP 4.0 – 4.5 )
